16 km river rafting

Actual Distance: 12 Km
Grade: II, II+ (Moderate Level).
Season: Mid Sept till end of junes

• 16 km Rafting from Club House to NIM beach 12km is a onroad distance from Rishikesh to clubhouse but in actual it is not 16 km. It is around 10-11 km by River and takes around 1and half 2 hours to complete. It features roughly five rapids, both minor and large. Golf Course (III+),Return to sender and Club House are some of the good rapids we run on this stretch (III).
• Although there are some large waves and hydraulics, these rapids are safe to raft. The travel to the starting place takes about 30 to 45 minutes , followed by another 30 minutes for preparation, raft inflation . We board the rafts when the safety briefing is completed. It’s a one and half hour river adventure with plenty of splashes and powerful hits
• We complete our rafting excursion at neem beach, it is just 100 m before from Laxman jhula and then drive back to the Wild Wonders Adventure office in 10 minutes.
• Duration Time: 2 Hours
• Every Day start at 7:30 am and last run at 3:30 pm

Must Know

Facts to know before you book your rafting trip:

• There is an age limit for rafting that is a minimum of 14years and a maximum of 60 years
• There is a weight limit of a minimum of 45 kg and a maximum of 100kg. Weight needs to be in proportion with height. 6 feet tall 100 kg is fine but 5 feet tall and 90 kg is fine for rafting.
• People must need to be in good health with an active lifestyle. People with heart problems/ bypass surgery or epilepsy or with severe asthma and handicapped are not allowed on a rafting trip as it can be risky for their life. People with normal health issues are able to do only 9 km river rafting after discussing all their issues with guid.
• People need to wear appropriate clothing for rafting which is quick-drying clothes like shorts and T-shirt/ slacks pants or nylon tights. No sari ,Skirts or burka is allowed in river rafting.
• If you are coming on weekend than might be possibility of traffic jam, so in case you are coming from outside of rishikesh you make sure to keep 2 to 3 hours extra in your hand to reach our office Tapovan Rishikesh

• All rafting gear including imported life jackets, Helmet, paddle.

• Rafting Video (its on the guid end which go with you in the raft) Pickup point

• Cancelation before 48 Hours, 70% refundable of total amount..
• Cancelation before 24 Hours, 25% refundable of total amount.
